A Plea to Nigerians in Diaspora – Help Stop Coronavirus in Nigeria

Could you help some of the poorest people in our country stay safe during this pandemic?

A large number of people in major Nigerian cities currently live in cramped conditions, with little or no access to clean water for drinking, cooking and frequent washing of hands.

There is no overemphasizing the magnitude of the tragedies we could record if we totally neglect to care for the very vulnerable members of our society with the required sense of urgency. We agree that the looming impact of a full-blown pandemic in Nigeria should only be imagined but not told.

On this note, we implore you to join us in curbing the spread of the virus, by helping us raise a substantial sum of money, with which we will be able to provide food and also improve the sanitary conditions of these people.

With a sense of great concern and care, we intend to reach as many people as possible, but we will be unable to do this without you. Again, we ask that you join us and support with your kind contributions. No amount will be classed as too small, as in the words of a local supermarket – “Every Little Helps”.
